Bath beads have customarily been packaged in disposable cellophane bags. This package was designed for a health and beauty store. Clients would choose a fragrance and then have it packaged in this box, similar to the way one might purchase custom chocolates.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
The graphics on the package were arranged to give a clean and fresh impression. The texture and floral patterns were used to induce a feeling of sophistication.
DIE-CUT LAYOUT
This template was designed to have a base that would hold without adhesive. The lid is made with four inner tabs and two outer tabs holding it all together.
FORM DESIGN
One important aspect of this package is its ability to be flattened and stored. The tabs also allow for effortless reassembly.
UNIQUE CLOSURE
The six wide tabs close the package securely. As the package is opened, the vitalizing color change throughout the layers makes the bath beads more inviting.
